Alaina's Birth Story

If you read my last post you might know that I had a C-Section. My C-section was planned due to my back pain.... I was really devastated that I had to have a C-section and I cried a lot thinking that I wasn't a good mom for not being able to give birth naturally... That day we had to be at the hospital at 4 in the morning so I could get prepped for the surgery. I was shaky and I thought I was going to faint. When it was time to be rolled in to the surgery room my heart was racing and I started to cry and I was like Christopher please don't make me do this I don't want to do this. I was freaking out I felt like I was going to throw up and I couldn't stop shaking like crazy. Luckily everyone in the surgery room was so kind and they were calming me down telling me it was okay. After I got the epidural Christopher was allowed to come in and within ten minutes they told us the baby would be coming out in 3 minutes! I can't even tell you how I felt when I heard that sweet cry. They cleaned her and put her next to me and she was the most beautiful little thing I ever did see. That whole day was surreal and I can't believe that I'm a mom. I love my little Alaina girl. And as it turns out the C-Section wasn't so bad and i actually perfer them now! Believe it or not. The recovery wasn't so bad either. (: thanks for reading my story!
